The best time for yacht charters to Koh Taen is during the high season (November to April) with calm seas and clear skies. Low season (May to October) offers lower prices but occasional rain.
Bring sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, and a waterproof phone case. Snorkeling equipment is provided on most yachts.
The journey takes approximately 45 minutes by private speedboat from Koh Samui, depending on departing marina, weather and sea conditions. Motor yachts take around 1.30 hours, and sailing catamarans approximately 3.00 hours.
